We just got this open call from our friends of Serde and thought maybe also some comics artist could be interested:
LAST CALL!!! We are still waiting for more applications for the Workshop AIZ- artist residency 2010. The dates are 21th - 29 August 2010, at SERDE workshop and residency center. The deadline for applications is 6th of May 2010.
Workshop AIZ – artists residency is an artists-run, non-profit-making initiative unique in Latvia that provides a creative arena for artists who are ambitious for their work and open to the challenges of an environment that demands experiment, co-operation and exchange. Artists can work in a variety of disciplines and media: installation, land art, performance, video, painting and sculpture, ceramics, time-based, photographic, etc.

The Workshop has received funding from the State Culture Capital Fund of Latvia, Aizpute municipality and other private individuals and organizations.
