Last week the first Comics Artventures week initiated and done together with the Latvian National Art Museum ended. You can read more about it in our previous blog entry and now also watch a short report about it by the popular LTV7 show Krējums... saldais.
Unfortunately it is only in Latvian, but basically they tell about the idea of the project, that Latvian and international comics artists spend a week in the museum to put new life into the classical Latvian artworks. The people interviewed are the comics artists Nicolas Zouliamis from Belgium, Emelie Östergren (Sweden), Mikus Duncis (Latvia) and Renata Gasiorowska (Poland), as well as the comics enthusiast and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium H.E. Mr Frank Arnauts and kuš! editor Dāvids Šilters.
