Workshop with Finnish Comics Artists

Last week we had a comics workshop in the framework of the Finest Comics Days arranged by the Finnish Institute in Estonia and the Finnish Comics Society. Teachers were Karri Laitinen and Aino Sutinen from Finland. The comics workshop lasted two days and had 10 amazing participants. On the first day the participants had the tasks to design characters and make very fast sketches. The second day was more laid back and the participants could almost freely draw diary comics, which in the end were printed in a small fanzine. Here are some impressions:

There are only 22 copies of this fanzine, but we have one left, which we would be happy to give away to some comic lover. The first one to write an e-mail to kushmens(at)gmail(.)com will get a free copy sent home!
